This obviously dated video was snared from an open satellite feed as Diane Sawyer waited to go on the air during the ABC-TV show "PrimeTime Live." Some celebrity web sites are making a big deal out of Diane sipping what appears to be red wine and then taking a pill from a prescription bottle. During ABC-TV's coverage of Election Night 2012, many speculated that Diane was tipsy. Perhaps the most amusing part of the video is Diane referring to a news subject as "crazy" and then pantomiming drinking and snorting like an out of control partier.

2nd half begins, Obama to receive kickoff
Congratulations to Barack Obama for earning a second term as POTUS. The Democrats retained control of the U.S. Senate and the Republicans retained control of the House of Representatives. Here is the response from Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, the voice of Pres. Obama's opposition and Kentucky's senior senator. WASHINGTON, D.C. โ U.S. Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell made the following statement today regarding President Barack Obama: โI extend my sincere congratulations to President Obama and Vice President Biden on their hard-fought victory, and I would like to thank Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan for running a great campaign based on concrete solutions to the tremendous economic challenges we continue to face. The American people did two things: they gave President
Four More Years In The Black
Don't kid yourself about Fox News wanting Mitt Romney to win. They NEED Barack Obama as a daily foil. So does Rush, Beck, Hannity, et al. Pres. Obama is the perfect winning business model for conservative media. Breathless partisans are either thrilled or appalled with what they see or hear. But it draws customers so it works. Conversely, left leaning voices (print, online punditry, TV, music, show biz publicity, comedians) is like tap water...ubiquitous. There is so much available that Fox dominates in the ratings because it is an aberration. Liberals get their comfort food in virtually any direction other than a smattering of conservative mother ships. The majority media culture has been punching conservatives in the face since the

Free Speech abridged for Secret Service sensitivity?
On the night before the 2012 presidential election, representatives for the Barack Obama campaign demanded that a T-shirt shop owner remove this sign mocking agents' prostitution scandal months earlier in Colombia. The shop owner initially refused to remove the sign, but relented before Pres. Obama's arrival in a nearby neighborhood for a final election rally. How is this parody of a real event any different than a sketch on Saturday Night Live or on the Rush Limbaugh radio show? Parody is protected speech, and any muscling by the president's campaign staff or government agents paints a picture seen in fascist societies. An apology is owed to this shop owner.
Bieber Flat Bat
Canadian kids aren't necessarily thrilled when presented with a personalized Louisville Slugger baseball bat. Justin Bieber seems a bit underwhelmed as he leans on his local treasure. Or maybe he thinks it's a hockey stick handle.
Beautiful
And that, my friends, is how to sing a song on live television.
We are family
Scott Van Duzer, a Republican who voted for Barack Obama in 2008, gave America a teachable moment this year. Scott struggled to build his small business, and has had issues with certain Obama policies. Differences aside, this playful campaign moment spoke volumes about respect and tolerance for a slow economic recovery. Prepare to gracefully accept Tuesday's election outcome. Pledge now to work with the next administration to improve America for all of us. We are family.
