Democrat debate in Charleston, SC (2020)

The CBS News Democrat Debate in South Carolina got out of control early with all 7 candidates shouting over each other. Hosts Norah O’Donnell and Gayle King eventually gained control of the cacophony of voices trying to punch up at delegate leader Bernie Sanders, the Democrat socialist who has great momentum.

For six of the candidates, their primary goal is to hit a home run to slow Bernie’s roll. I saw no such feat accomplished. The Bern is still bulldozing his way toward the Democrat nomination to challenge Donald Trump in November.

Former advisor to President Bill Clinton and occasional TV pundit James Carville delivered an insightful post-debate review for MSNBC.

Here’s frontrunner Bernie Sanders in the Spin Room breaking down his performance on CNN.

Highlights reel from Politico

The Daily Show with Trevor Noah was live on Comedy Central just after the debate. “I haven’t seen white people go at each other that hard since khakis were on sale at Banana Republic.”
