Yarmuth reported that the housing situation was clean and lightly inhabited, a scenario he suspected had been tidied up before the arrival of the congressional delegation. Yarmuth also talked about the shocking specter of debating Democrats trashing Barack Obama for not being "woke" enough during his 8 years in the presidency. Many of the current presidential hopefuls are going to extreme measures
U.S. Rep. John Yarmuth popped onto the radio today to explain why the Democrats caved in on the government shutdown stalemate. We talked about Sen. Chuck Schumer's strategy, the DACA negotiations, funding the U.S. military vs funding The Dreamers, and Yarmuth replied to Gov. Matt Bevin's contention that he is "whining" about the new Medicaid waiver allowing the government to demand that able-bodied recipients either work, get job training, or provide community service. The photo above is a rare capture of Yarmuth and Bevin appearing side-by-side. We'll not have any of that bipartisanship, gentlemen. Back to your corners.
People watch the same interview and see opposite outcomes. It's the entire blue dress/black dress quandary. Is CNN's Don Lemon suffering from Stockholm Syndrome? In the above video, Lemon doesn't know how to handle filmmaker Ami Horowitz delivering stats on Sweden's crime statistics tied to immigrants. Lemon cites stats on Sweden compiled by the U.S. State Department. In the video below, others interpret Lemon pushing Horowitz into a corner. Isn't fake news the BEST!
