On the launch day of the Republican healthcare plan to replace Obamacare, the White House communications office offered me an interview with Kellyanne Conway, Counselor to President Donald Trump.

Hi Terry,

We’d like to schedule an interview with Kellyanne Conway on the show this afternoon to discuss Obamacare repeal/place. Please advise if this is possible.

Thank you,

I suppose our show was chosen to counter Kentucky Senator Rand Paul’s negative response to the plan his party was trying to advance.

It was a spirited conversation to put it mildly. But it wasn’t mild.

The next day, a surprise announcement was issued that President Trump will visit Louisville in three days. Looks like Senator Rand Paul is getting a double dose of executive office persuasion.

Media interviews spun by Kellyanne Conway are a trip. The “master of deflection” always seems to ratchet up some kind of drama.

Hear my entire interview with Kellyanne Conway below:

Unbelievable. Wow, you didn’t even know what went wrong during the interview with her? I suppose you think she’s going to agree that President Trump’s tweets are crazy. You’re stupid.
It is more likely that Trump was wire-tapped. Then what are you going to say?
I adore all of the tweets – cause it tweeks nimrods like you.

I believe she projected what a lot of people feel about the media. You may be an exception to most when it comes to the media. Your station was the only station I heard anything about what Denzel Washington did for the veterans. Why can’t the media just report all of the news instead of just the news that makes someone else look bad? You can’t watch Fox News unless you love President Trump and you can’t watch most other news outlets unless you’re a screaming liberal. I just want to hear the news!!! Why is it so hard to put out what is going on without prejudice?

Terry,
I am from the Cincinnati area and listen to 700 WLW all the time. When I travel through Louisville or anywhere in this area I switch over to 840. I just listened to your interview with Kelly Ann Conway. Unfortunately I was not very impressed. You sound quite negative towards Donald Trump.
There are times when Trump tweets what many would consider bizarre, however, that pales in comparison to all the amazing things that he is doing that you and the media are willing to report. You prefer to focus on the bad instead of the good and that turns a lot of people off. If this were the first time that I listened to you I would consider you leaning liberal for sure.
This is just my opinion. I do enjoy listening to you as I travel to your area.
