Garrett Goodwin, an Army veteran, recently made headlines after the video above surfaced of him confronting another man at at busy Tampa intersection, just a few miles away from MacDill Air Force Base.

Goodwin joined AM Tampa Bay Wednesday and says it all began when he got to the intersection and saw the man with a sign saying homeless veteran and was wearing a uniform. And he wanted to help. But then when he started asking questions, Goodwin says something wasn’t right.
