Knowing what we know now, it is interesting to hear how Donald Trump assessed his life just three years before he would be elected the 45th President of the United States.
Trump has a comedic charm about him when responding to dopey questions about organized crime, his hair flopping in the wind, and how much he must spend to build a DC building.
Interviewed by David Letterman, Trump talked about a few serious issues like his father’s discipline demands, government shutdowns, Vladimir Putin and “tough and smart” Russians, and Trump’s supposed lack of interest in pursuing political office.
Letterman: “You’ve really got the world by the ass, don’t you?”
Trump: “No. I work hard.”
Little did anyone fathom how hard he would work to win the 2016 presidency and spend most of his time arguing with Liberals who refuse to accept the outcome of that election.
