Breaking News surely broke someone’s career

An Oakland TV anchor was pranked by someone pretending to be an NTSB spokesperson following the San Francisco crash of Asiana flight 214. The newscaster read the “names” of four Asian pilots without proofreading the obviously sarcastic material.

My guess is that a prankster called in the information right before airtime and a naive producer typed the names into the prompter system for the anchor so that the station would be the first to report this Breaking News.

No word on whether anyone was fired for the racially tinged prank.

This chick below may be the worst pantomime in the history of low graphics television.
