Let’s stop treating anyone as subhumans. Christian protesters in 1967 applied some of the same logic (“Race mixing is against God’s natural order!”) when the Supreme Court overturned Virginia law forbidding blacks to marry whites. Gays, lesbians, bisexuals, and transsexuals are entitled to the same rights as everyone else. No person is a lesser cut of human being.

It’s all good. With equality, we are an improved America.
