It’s no secret that NBC’s Saturday Night Live leans left. It’s writing crew has tagged Republicans with fake phrases (faux George W. Bush: “strategery” and faux Sarah Palin: “I can see Russia from my house!”) to burden their intellectual standing. But when SNL’s current idol Barack Obama stumbled mightily in the first 2012 presidential debate, it left the comedy show writers stymied. DETAILS

Of course, not every comedy writer is a Liberal, although the breakdown can be likened to the familiar political split of the 99% versus the 1%.
