She called the doctor and woke him up and said "Doctor, is there something I can take to relieve this belly ache?" Dude covers Prince. "Doctor Everything's Gonna Be Alright will make everything go wrong."

Roasted Fool
From Angie Fenton: One week ago, I gave birth to our daughter Olive while in the midst of a production deadline for the next issue of Extol Magazine. Thanks to our wonderful team, the latest edition has been sent to the printer on time and will be on stands at more than 350 locations throughout Southern Indiana and Louisville next week. That makes this new mama very proud and grateful for the support. Shaq goes to the rack and gives back
The best part of the video is the end where Shaquille O'Neal has kids chanting that they will respect their elders, and be leaders, not followers. Brilliant leadership. Thanks, Shaq.
Make me wanna holler with joy
As boomers weep over a few rock star heroes dying, it's a good time to appreciate the ones who are still above ground. I wasn't perceptive enough to know that Marvin Gaye's dad was going to shoot him before I got a chance to tell him that "What's Going On" redirected my life. Once I heard the title track, well, mercy mercy me...inner city blues made me wanna holler, too. This incredible album took me away from my white boy working class neighborhood to places that I hadn't considered. My musical tastes and capacity for empathy grew exponentially. But Marvin was gone long before I had a radio show that could have allowed me to thank him. It's
Love is in the air
A pilot pretends there is an irregularity during a flight - he is totally safe - and proposes to his girlfriend in flight. He has her read a "checklist" which leads to the reveal. Beautifully done. Congrats, kids. It's not as easy for many others.
Snowmageddon 2016
Eminence, Kentucky school system administrators created the best "school's out for snow" message to date. Luckily for all the people nesting in nearby homes, the liquor store opened about 10 AM and life was suddenly worth living. Many people complain about snow, but there is joy to be found in frozen fun. Enjoy life on its terms. My buddy Don Sullivan put it all in perspective for me.
Powerball pranking
Three winning tickets emerged from the massive $1.5 billion Powerball jackpot, the largest in American history. Only one couple has emerged with a legitimate winning ticket. Some lottery veterans worry about the winning couple's behavior. They went on national TV to brag before even going to the lottery headquarters to get the ticket validated. Complete insanity. Of course, fake powerball winner stories are getting tons of clicks. The military widow story pales in comparison to the tale of the winner who overdosed on cocaine. And the man who told a Nevada TV station that he would spend his potential winnings on hookers and cocaine turns out to be a married father of two. His Internet fame has already faded. The holders

A loving eulogy for my parents
My mother passed away 10 years ago and my father died two years later. My brother Chris found the eulogy I wrote and delivered at my father's funeral in February 2008. I have very little memory of writing or delivering it, proving that the heart and brain can push past fear, sadness, and severe emotional trauma. ----------------- THE EULOGY Mel Meiners funeral, February 18, 2008 This very room is the epicenter of Mel & Norma Meiners’ legacy. The Roman Catholic Church was the guiding light in every Meiners moment. Mom & Dad met through church activities at St. Elizabeth. They raised their children across the street from this church property. Both passed away at the sacred Nazareth Home, just
