Matt Lauer has been terminated from NBC News. On Monday night, we received a detailed complaint from a colleague about inappropriate sexual behavior in the workplace by Matt Lauer. As a result, we’ve decided to terminate his employment. pic.twitter.com/1A3UAZpvPb— TODAY (@TODAYshow) November 29, 2017 NBC News abruptly terminated Matt Lauer for inappropriate sexual behavior in the workplace. Lauer, the primary anchor of the network's signature show TODAY, moved from the news desk in 1997 to replace anchor Bryant Gumbel. As the day played out, more women told their own stories of abuse and discomfort in dealing with Lauer. Rival ABC News challenged statements by NBC execs claiming they didn't know anything about Lauer's workplace misdeeds. Some former NBC employees say

Lamar Jackson on early shoving match with UK linebacker: “It’s just football”
Lamarvelous was brilliant versus Kentucky in the regular season finale. This early scuffle occurred when UK linebacker Jordan Jones, who was not involved in the tackling of Lamar Jackson, decided to step in and ram his helmet into Louisville's quarterback. Jackson shoved Jones. Jones shoved Jackson. UK fans cried that they BOTH should have been ejected. Watch the video without your blue glasses. When an anger management candidate like Jones walks into a space where he does not belong and initiates contact, expect that contact to be answered. I'm glad neither player was ejected. Louisville benefitted from two subsequent personal foul penalties committed by Jones. Thanks, Jordan! We had fun! Lol My boy Lt ? https://t.co/kMxJZE2H5P— Lamar

During its most tumultuous year ever, the University of Louisville still found joy in Lamar
Lamar Jackson was doing more Lamar Jackson things for @UofLFootball today. pic.twitter.com/W1dk4xttT6— ACC Digital Network (@theACCDN) November 25, 2017 Lamar Jackson kept Louisville from a complete crash-and-burn during its parade of basketball and academic scandals. Thank God for Lamar. UofL severs ties with final two shoe scandal connections
The University of Louisville threw a little more water onto its dumpster fire of scandals by releasing student-athlete Brian Bowen and assistant basketball coach Kenny Johnson today. Bowen's scholarship to attend UofL remains valid but he was told he will never play basketball for the Cardinals after the FBI revealed secret meetings about shoe company money being funneled to his family. Johnson was terminated likely as another illustration by the school to the NCAA that it was cleaning house of the entire Rick Pitino leadership team, save for new acting head basketball coach David Padgett and a few support staffers. Rick Pitino tells me he is completely finished with coaching although he told ESPN earlier this week that (when he is proven innocent
Gov. Matt Bevin on UofL without Jurich, gambling, drinking, and being alone with a woman
Kentucky Governor Matt Bevin joined me on 840WHAS for a wide-ranging interview on: expanded gambling to bolster pensions, sexual harassment among Kentucky legislators, being alone with a woman, was his UofL board of trustees correct in firing Tom Jurich, a potential LouCity FC stadium, Kentucky outpacing Indiana, tax perks, imbibing, and would he consider being a running mate to Mike Pence in 2020.
Jennifer Lawrence never forgets her hometown buddies
Jennifer Lawrence did one of her first radio interviews with me in 2009 for the release of the film The Burning Plain. She returned the next year for a chat about Winter's Bone, which would earn Jen her first Academy Award nomination. The first time we met, I walked into the WHAS radio studio and Jennifer said "Dude, I'm starstruck. I've seen you on TV my whole life!" She refers to me as her "first celebrity" friend. Last week on WDJX radio, she popped into an interview with singers Linkin Bridge as they prepared to go on Jimmy Kimmel Live, hosted by Jennifer Lawrence. Thanks for the shoutout, Jen. It gave me a hearty laugh. You rock!
Love Louisville – #IgoDowntown
This is a beautiful love letter to Louisville. #IGODOWNTOWN Well done, Wil Heuser. He did all of the coordination, co-wrote the song, produced and directed the video, and does not appear in it. Good dude. Here he is.
